It is indeed normal to have swelling and pain in foot after a leg cast is taken off. There is a change in pressure.

∙ 13y agoI would think so. The cast is just so you can't move your leg and hurt it further. The leg itself isn't numb. Tons of people get itchy under their cast so feeling pain should be normal too.
