how far along are you? It could just be gas. If it is severe or you are worried, go see a doctor

You should go to the Doctor.

if you do, that means your baby is kicking you.

No, the uterus is below your bellybutton.

If you needed a D&C and didn't have one, then yes it will cause upper stomach pains along with sickness, dizziness (possible fainting), severe pains and a discharge. If you need a D&C go and get one done now! If you don't you are putting your reproductive organs at risk of a severe infection that can result in you having a hysterectomy.

I'm about 5 weeks pregnant and I have a subtle stomach cramp in the upper part of my belly.

Your period could be starting early and blood can look brown. "Upper abdominal" pains don't sound normal unless you happened to work out really hard in the last couple of days. If it's still bothering you tomorrow, I'd call your GYN. If it gets worse tonight or if the pain gets worse, get to an E.R. Hope this helps and hope you're feeling better soon.

Your Pregnant! The burning is from the growth of your little baby!

I went to the dr for this problem and the lining of my stomach was inflamed due to bacteria that had grown in my stomach that wasn't supposed to be there. He gave me some medicine that would coat my stomach before I ate...it helped me

Both the upper and lower ends of the stomach have a sphincter that regulates flow into and out of the stomach. The lower esophageal sphincter is at the top of the stomach, and the pyloric sphincter is at the lower end of the stomach.

Being bloated can be a symptom, but it can also be for a variety of other reasons. Take a test if you miss your period

It sounds like an ulcer. Try taking prilosec daily and drink malox when it hurts really bad. If that helps, then it's an ulcer.

In humans the stomach is situated in the upper part of the abdominal cavity.

It is a natural response to pressure in that area. If you are pregnant, you should always be laying on you back with NO pressure on the front of your body.
