Yes, it's normal. When the uterus enlarges it can put pressure on the bladder, making you feel like you need to pee more. Some women also have water retention and bloating before their periods starts, meaning they will pee a greater amount whilst menstruating.

∙ 11y agoYeah, but you don't really pee blood. When you are on your period, blood could mix with your pee and it could seem like you are peeing blood. It happened to me on my period, too. Don't worry, it will stop when you are done having your period.
If you are REALLY peeing blood you need to see a Doctor immediately.

∙ 12y agoIt depends on how many times you pee a day, an average person pees 6 times a day. If you pee more than 6 times a day, then you might have UTI, or you probably drank too much water, or each time you pee, you don't completely empty your bladder.
