Yes, i used make-up in sixth grade, although i didn't wear it nearly as heavy as i do now. But i think 6th grade is an good age to start wearing it.
First ask your parents to try the basics;little lip gloss and/or mascara. If they don't let you then you should take your makeup to school and wear it in school, and take it off when coming home. Keep your makeup in a safe place, like in your locker, or backpack.
Add face lotion and clean your face by masks or scrubbers. This should grow as a routine since this is the stage of puberty. Your body is growing. (This words in the parenthesis don't have anythings to do with makeup, but in 6th grade, all girls should start wearing Bras.)
You could wear mascara at home, which I usually do if your parents don't find out. I recommend you put on anything else in your school. But don't put too much because they might notice and sometimes you can smudge it too.
Don't apply any lipstick until like 8th grade. If you want, you can add light colors of lip color like nude pink or hot pink.
If you want to, you can add eye shadow. Only add neutral colors or light shade colors such as gold.
You could also wear eyeliner if you want, but I don't think you need it until 8th grade.
You don't have to wear blush unless you want to.
You don't need powder, concealer, or foundation unless you want to cover up pimples or zits. You should ask your parents about that. Be confident if you do.
I usually wear clear lip gloss or nude pink lipstick with a little mascara. Remember don't overdue your makeup.
Besides, if they are real friends they won't care, but if they do make fun of you act like you don't care they will stop.
I think you should love your true unmasked beauty, and you will get great results from this and you feel more confident in yourself when you don't wear make up.
It depends on your parents and your school rules. A lot of parents don't want their daughters going out in public at that age with makeup on and a lot of schools don't allow elementary school students to wear makeup.
It depends, so like if it is lip gloss and blush sure but eye shadow and mascara and eye liner, not until they are in high school. I would know because I'm a 4th grader and my mom told me these things.
No. They are too young and there is no need to wear makeup.
NO. they are to young
NO! I didn't start wearing makeup until the 6th grade.
No. At you're age, you're still a little girl. If you want to, you can start practicing applying makeup, and have fun doing you're friends makeup too. But you shouldn't wear it to school or anything like that. you're still young, and you don't want other people to get the wrong message. Maybe you can start in high school. The older the better, so you're face still stays natural and beautiful. (:
a 5th grader shouldn't wear any makeup. Makeup on a young child will appear to be tacky. Of course, if there is an occasion then mascara and lip gloss is okay, but otherwise, a kid shouldn't wear scene makeup
Three products: powder, lip gloss and mascara. See if you can convince your mom to let you wear tinted lip gloss, otherwise clear will do. Since you're in sixth grade that's all I'd use on you even if your mom was okay with you wearing makeup--a lot of schools freak out if sixth graders wear makeup.
