Is it ok for a 16 year old guy to talk or date to 13 year old?

My personal opinion is that a 13 year old is too young to date a 16 year old, even though a 3 year age difference, in other circumstances, is not very much. We would think nothing of a 25 year old dating a 28 year old. But 13 is very young.

It probably seems weird for a guy to date a girl that is three years younger than he is. However, I have heard of thirteen-year-old girl dating a seventeen-year-old boy before. If these two people really love each other, and they think that the relationship will last has they grow older, I suppose its perfectly fine for a sixteen-year-old and a thirteen-year-old to date. It may turn out to be a great thing!

It's legal since there aren't any laws for dating in the US only regarding sex which is illegal in this case. You would need permission for your parents to date though.
