ANSWER It is. Sorry to tell you but The Bible says that being bi is a sin. This topic usually confuses Christians as I have had a problem with this question myself. It is a sin, but if you want to sin go ahead. Just remember that you will have to stand before God and explain to Him your sins.

According to Christian beliefs and God, yes it is. God made each person just as they are. To experiment with other sexual lifestyles is a sin. It is a perversion of what God intended. Absolutely not. Bi-sexuality or homosexuality are normal expressions of the human sexual response. There are people who condemn it out of religious beliefs, ignorance, or fear, but there is nothing wrong with it.

Studies have shown we either straight identify or gay identify. And within that preference we may be more or less flexible than our straight or gay peers.

Think of sexuality as a continuum.

1 Being perfectly straight and 10 being perfectly gay. Biologically there's probably no such thing as a true 5. But a skirt chasing straight male that just couldn't turn down a Transsexual "10" if the opportunity arose? Or a lesbian couple that really gets hot and bothered by rippled and gorgeous gay male porn? That's the 3 and 7 range that genuine Bi-Curiousness resides around.

In that light one can see bisexuality as a hyper sexuality. Where just your own preference isn't enough. A straight guy so horny he craves any thing remotely female. Or a butch dyke that wants to dominate anything pretty, be it her lipstick lesbian partner, or Justin Bieber. As Woody Allen said, being bisexual just increases your chances of getting laid on a Friday night.

The only situation where it might be perceived as wrong, or downright dangerous. Is in the prevalence of "Down Low" culture in the homophobic black community. Closeted black men in married relationships having sex with other men on the side, unbeknownst to their wives has been a major link to HIV amongst black women and the populous inner city. A shining parable to the intolerance of ignorance reaping what it has sown.

There is evidence of bisexual play in nature but largely as an identity, it is a cultural invention. It seems to me to be in direct reaction to straight male identified society. Either to appease straight male homophobic environments like a closeted gay man 'claiming' bisexuality in a highly conservative hometown. Or bisexual chic of college girls appearing rebellious whilst still appeasing that same straight male sexuality.

Lastly the occurrence of straight males who are "prison gay" out of desperation or situational necessity.

There was a study revealing that the least "bisexual" of all groups are gay identifying men. And the most sexual fluidity was found among gay identified females.

Now a days. Bisexuality has become downright chic. But it seems the research points out we all favor one team or another. Ultimately, sexuality is fluid, and far more a shade of gray than black and white. Biology loves diversity, it's society that hates it. How in to the other side is largely a matter of a culture that discourages it, and the individual that is true to their hearts real desires.

Being bisexual is NOT a sin. Even though the bible says that same-sex dating and/ or marriage is sinful, as long as you are happy in a relationship, whether it be with a male or a female or anywhere in between, just be happy as you. Also, realize being bisexual is not a choice. You were born this way. Embrace it and be happy as who you are.
