What kind of dog does Susan Lucci have?

Susan Lucci, the famous soap star, has a Bichon Frise. You may have seen her on the Martha Stewart Apprentice show last week. The little, white fluff ball dog is a Bichon Frise. This breed has become widely popular in the last decade. The Bichon Frise won "Best in Show" at the Westminster Dog show a few years ago. In the past this breed was also used as circus dogs because they can jump very high. The Bichon Frise breed is a companion dog. They are cheerful and affectionate by nature. They do not shed, which is wonderful. However, you have to brush them on a daily basis or their hair will mat. They have curly white to apricot colored hair that is soft. They range from 7-15 pounds in weight. The Bichon Frise usually lives to at least 18 years in age, so they will be around with you for a long time. The Bichon Frise is a house dog. They require little exercise. Running around the house and playing tug-of-war often suffice. However, they are always up for a walk. The Bichon Frise breed tends to have bad knees and develop cataracts. I have a Bichon Frise that is 13 years old. She has bad knees, but still moves around quite well. In fact, most people think she is a puppy because she is small and perky. She has had knee surgery in the past.

What is the age of the oldest bichon frise?

The oldest living Bichon in 2014 was 20 years old. The average is 12 - 15 years, but the oldest living Bichon Frise (according to records of the Kennel Club) was 21 when he died. I was happy to hear about this as I own a Bichon Frise which I thought was mixed with another breed, but was recently told by a person (breeder) when I was out walking my dogs that she was full Bichon Frise. When I did the research that person was right. It was wonderful to hear that they are a long living breed. It's difficult at best to have to part with a loyal friend.

What happen if your bichons frise eat some chocolate?

If they only get some chocolate then its fine. If they get a lot and its a puppy then it can be bad but it shouldn't die. My bichon when it was a baby got into everything hes had a whole plate of sausages one time donuts one time cake one time chicken. But hes 8 now and hes fine. They dog should be fine. If the bichon got a ton of chocolate he/ she will most likely just be throwning up. Its nothing big. hope for the best for you!

I am a very responsible almost 13 year old girl and I really want a bichon frise for Christmas and my family is going through rough times were can I find a cheap bichon?

well if you check bichon rescue online and scroll down, click on available for adoption it will show you all dogs they have for adoption. just go to www.bichonrescue.com. also if you go to the pound you can get one there for free and you are saving a dog. Hope this helps!!! i heard that during the holidays around xmas time the shelters with dogs that need to be adopted are cheap. you should check the shelter to adopt a Bichon. Also, I got mine from a breeder for $300. Good luck Bichon Frises are extremely good pets, but you are wrong if you think that the only cost is buying the dog. I have my own Bichon Frise and she ate a washing machine tablet! We had to pay £4,000 for the vet bills. Also, Bichons are very fussy about their food. My Annie only likes this £13.00 food. But I know a place in Pangbourne where they give away Bichon Frise puppies for free so if you live in that area you might want to check it out. I got Annie for £350 which I think is better buying your puppies from breeder rather than getting it for free. ==

Is it healthy or ok to feed a 3 month old puppy once time?

No feed 4 to 5 times a day.

How much does a bichon frise cost?

Well, it all depends on where you buy the Bichon. All breeders have different prices. If you buy it at a Animal Shelter it will be a ton cheeper than if you buy it from a breeder. i bought my bichon for 1000 from a breeder.

Why does your bichon frise cy all the time?

Bishon's are known as the "cry baby" dogs for the most part because they form extreamly strong bonds with their owners. You can think of a bishon as being like a child with very bad separation issues. But this becomes better with age. Not that having an enthusiastic welcome everytime you leave and enter a room is annoying or anything...

Should you breed your bichon frise?

When considering breeding from your Dog there is lots to consider. Firstly, is your dog pedigree and Kennel Club registered? Can you afford the stud fees for a male Bichon Frise? Can you find all the puppies good homes? Has your Dog been tested for inherited diseases that she may pass onto her puppies? Is she over three years old and under seven years old? Can you afford a whelping box, puppy food, vet bills and time? Finally, is your Dog a healthy, purebred and friendly example of her breed? If you confidently answered ''yes'' to all of those questions, then you may be ready to breed from your Dog. Bear in mind that with small breeds like Bichon Frise's there is a high risk of complications, such as deformed or still born puppies, the need for a caesarian (which is very expensive) and the possibility of the mother dying. Be sure to have your Dog tested for inherited diseases by your veterinarian so that you can be sure she won't pass it on to her puppies. Make sure your Dog and the stud Dog are both Kennel Club registered as not only will the puppies sell for more, they can then be Kennel Club registered themselves and shown at a professional level. Breeding from your Dog can be a rewarding experience, but only if you are committed to all the things that come with it.

Is the Malton breed good with people with allergies?

"Malton" dogs are not a breed, but a cross/mix of a purebred Maltese with the Cavachon (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Bichon Frise mix). Both the Maltese and Bichon Frise are low shedding, low dander dogs that are often good with people with allergies, however, typically the Spaniels, like the Cavalier King Charles, are not considered low shedding or low dander dogs. You would just need to "try out" the dog in your home for a few days before the decision is made to get that type of dog. Even purebred dogs can cause different reactions in people with allergies, so you usually must test each individual dog, not just a breed of dogs to see how you do. Most reputable breeders will let you take the dog home for a trial, or will at least make them available to you to spend time with them to see how the allergic response goes.

Is it normal for your ball python to poop the same day it eats you have had for two weeks and this was his first time pooping but he has been eating once every seve days?

Do NOT NOT NOT feed your ball that often. Twice a month at MOST. Mine is a 4 ft female and I feed her once a month. It will poop since you have been feeding it that often.

Is it better to feed your ball python in the morning afternoon or at night?

Balls are generally more active at night, so evening is good. Any time really works, just make sure to keep it at a steady time, don't feed her morning one month and evening the next.
