Juvenile and adult guinea pigs eat the same food. There isn't puppy and adult food as for dogs. You should include guinea pig pellets, vegetables, timothy and don't forget vitamin C supplements.

My first guinea-pig was 1 month when I got her, and every day for about a month i went to her caged and called her name, and when she came I gave her some food. After about a month she would just be on the lawn eating, I would call her and she would run over to me even if I didn't have food.
Guinea pig pellets are small pieces of food that guinea pigs eat. Pellets can be timothy based or alfalfa based. For an adult guinea pig a timothy based pellet is best because alfalfa includes extra protein and calcium that young (under age one) and pregnant guinea pigs need, but adult guinea pigs don't. Pellets should be available to guinea pigs at all times as they are the main part of a guinea pig's diet. Source Guinea pig owner

You can feed them both guinea pig food. Don't feed the guinea pig the rabbit food or it will be sick. Rabbits are ok on guinea pig food.
It cost about $50.00 a month to afford changing supplies and hay, and of course a cave and food. I have a male Guinea Pig and i live in NY and i know all about this stuff.

No,NEVER,EVER give a guinea pig hamster food.Hamster food contains nuts, which are fine for the hamster but will almost certainly choke your guinea pig. Also hamster food contains corn which is way too fattening for guinea pigs. And lastly a guinea pig needs a lot of vitamin C which guinea pig food has plenty of while hamster food doesn't have nearly enough, plus hamster food has too much protein for guinea pigs.
Yes. Guinea pig food is vegan. Dogs are omnivores and need meat protein. A dog cannot live on food intended for guinea pigs.
Well, a guinea's life span is 4-8, so he might just be getting old, but check with a vet just in case it is a disease.
