∙ 10y agoIt's not a very good idea, I did it last night and it seemed like it was the equivelant of taking 10 of either one. I also take alprozolam also, needless to say I slept 12 hours and don't think I moved an inch. My eyes just got heavier and heavier until I could not stay awake( this happened over 30 seconds wide awake to asleep.)

∙ 11y agoYes, you can, but be careful. Zanaflex is a muscle relaxer and will potentate the opiates(oxycodone is an opiate). But both cause respiratory depression, so mixing high quantities of both can cause death. Be careful.

∙ 12y agoConcomitant use of tizanidine and moderate or potent CYP1A2 inhibitors is contraindicated. Concomitant use of tizanidine with fluvoxamine, a potent CYP1A2 inhibitor in man, resulted in a 33-fold increase in the tizanidine AUC (plasma drug concentration-time curve) by fluvoxamine. Tizanidine is a potent sedative. It therefore has the potential, to interact with other CNS depressants. Alcohol should obviously be avoided, particularly as it can cause stomach upset.
