If your taking risperdol then you are treating some form of schitzophrenia or psychosis. smoking weed in general can make schitzophrenia and pyschosis worse for people. I have heard that messing with risperdol and weed can also cause anxiety...

∙ 11y agoit will increase the sedative effect, most of the time resulting in side effects and possibly upset your balance of chemicals in your brain, which risperidal is meant to control. both drugs will sedate you, so you will feel much more sleepy. in general sence it is safe for those who know what to expect. also, many who take risperidal use it for schitzophrenia. take note that if you are one of those people, pot will only make things worse in the long run. ive taken both and found that it has a releif that fades and you are left with a burn out that leaves you more sedated then ever and ready to pass out. please expiriment wisely ! and dont take my word on any of this because im not a true psychiatrist. other people interact differently to drugs, and medication.

∙ 12y agoI've been on Risperdal for most of my life and I've been smoking marijuana for about a year. I don't think that there have been any severe side effects since I have taken the two together.
