Is it ok to want to be a girl. Im 20 and Ive felt like this for as long as I can remember but Im scared what people will say especially my parents. My girlfriend supports me though?

You gotta do what you gotta do, you are who you are. If youre parent's can't accept it, then, that's too bad for them. In the sense of if it's ok or not, well that's a mere questions of one's morals. For instance, in your view that's perfectly ok, and there are even operations for it. I highly suggest watching TransAmerica, it's a movie, and deals with this particular dilemma.

Then after they say yes( which they probably will) go out and ask that girl out and make her happy no matter what anybody says about you or her or both of you together. Remember it is your relationship and if you are emberassed of her or your relationship, then maybe your parents were right in not letting you have a girlfriend in the first place.
