It is not known whether they may get AIDS, but if so, it is very unlikely. AIDS is a human immunodeficiency virus, which means HIV, which I bet you know. There is, however, a feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) which is a totally different disease.

First of all, it is animal abuse to expose a dog to human excretions in the manner in which you suggest, and this is a felony in most jurisdictions. Second, HIV (the virus itself) can be transmitted only among humans, not between species. Third, AIDS is a disease that most people who carry HIV eventually would get without treatment.

Dogs do have their own version of AIDS. While humans have the HIV virus, dogs can carry the CIV virus, and cats can carry the FIV virus.

Interesting question, HIV infect humans and cause disease in human not even in monkeys. It is because monkey's restriction factors can inhibit the HIV replication, human factor fails because HIV has evolved to overcome our immune function. It is not known whether dog restriction factor are susceptible or resistant to HIV. One thing may also not known, whether the dog retrovirus (like HIV) can affect human. Only by doing infectivity research we can answer these question.

There has never been a documented case of a human infecting a dog with HIV. Dogs can get CIV, but that is different from HIV.
