Is it possible to conceive if you have heavy periods with clots about the size of a nickel to a quarter?

Yes, because if you're getting a period at all that means you ovulated before that. I think it is very common to get clots that size. I do. I wouldn't worry about it unless you're periods become so heavy that you feel you should see a doctor about it.
