The fetal heartbeat can be heard with a fetal scope between 22 and 24 weeks.

Most home use fetal dopplers can detect the heartbeat at 12-15 weeks.

Clinical level fetal doppler machines that your doctor uses can usually hear the heartbeat between 6-8 weeks.

At about 18 days after conception, so when the mother is roughly four days late for her menstrual cycle.

But the heartbeat cannot be heard until 5.5 - 7 weeks gestation. (From first day of last menstrual cycle.)

I've been looking for this answer too, and the consensus seems to be that around 7-8 weeks you should see it, but I've seen people say they've seen it as early as 6 weeks or so. Good luck!

The fetus usually develops a heartbeat at week 5 but it is not always strong enough to be detected through an ultrasound at this time yet.
