Is it possible to get an associate's degree quickly?

The associates is designed to be a two year program of study as a full-time student. However, taking a minimum full-time course load of 12 credits per semester will not be enough to finish within two years. To acquire the degree within a shorter period of time, you would have to take approximately 18 credits (six courses) per semester plus summer and possibly interim semesters. Please be advised, that doing it at this rate might put your degree at risk because it very well could be an overwhelming load for you to carry. Sometimes in an effort to take three giant steps ahead, students find themselves ten steps behind. I do not know your background, or why you have this urgency, so its hard to advise you appropriately.
