Practice total relaxation and deep breathing for a few minutes before you go to bed.

Relax from head to toe. Close your eyes and relax every part of your body.

Maintain a habit of sleeping at the same time everyday, including weekends.

Sleep on your back with a flat pillow under your knees. This will align your spine properly and prevent any back aches caused by sleeping in a bent position.

Undoubtedly, the quality, quantity, and type of food we eat affect our height, growth, and health. We cannot emphasize enough how important your food intake is in determining how much growth you can possibly obtain. The types of food you eat will either improve or decrease your growth potential.

Zinc deficiency can lead to stunted growth. However, for a 17 year old, genetics most likely is the factor.

However, the simple answer is to eat a wide range of food and take a multivitamin. No one supplement has been proven to increase height for a healthy individual.

Some drugs, such as letrozole, have been shown to increase height in pubertal boys with slow growth. However, it's unlikely a doctor would prescribe such drugs to a person with a normal height.

your still to grow naturally until about age16-17. but if u want to grow 3 inches (approx) then try 3 different stretches everyday, each for about 30seconds. grab onto a bar above your head and hang the body straight, for 2 minutes. 2: lie flat on the floor, head down, and put your arms into a press-up position, keep your waist on the floor but push your back and head as high as possible, 3: do the bridge(lie on back, keep sholders and feet on floor and push waist up to sky.

Better nutrition over all will help a person reach their maximum height. We see this in the gradual height increases to the general population as nutrition has improved over the years.

Eating right, lots of vegetables, fruits, whole grains and a balance of proteins and dairy will do more to help a person reach their maximum height than any supplement.
