It is possible to swap the engines, and the V6 gives a noticeable improvement over power and acceleration. Just make sure the transmission can handle the V6 or swap the transmission as necessary.

On www.turbovan.net the guy tells and shows how to rebuild transmissions and will show how to remove them. I dont know where you can find a free schematic for a A413 transmission. Unless you buy the manual for it from like Advance Auto Parts for around 20 dollars.

i would check speedometer sensor. . take car to autozone they hook up code read out for free.. speedo sensor found on tranny. and its over $100.00 dollars for part only.. easy to change if handy w/ tools and if you can find it
