Is it possible to test positive for pregnancy two weeks after having intercourse even though you had an abbreviated period during regular cycle time?

Two weeks after possible conception is a good time to test for pregnancy. All though, i do not know what you mean when you say abbreviated period. If it was a slight, or short period, aka "implantation bleeding", you may want to wait 2-3 weeks after it ended.

It depends on the sensetivity of the test but yes it is possible to get a pos result as early as 11 days after conception. That does not mean a neg result is accurate yet though

If your blood test came back positive then it is positive.

It is possible. Conception occurs within 5-7 days after intercourse. Although you will not be able to detect pregnancy at this point. You should wait at least two weeks after intercourse before receiving an accurate home-pregnancy test.

A false positive is very rare but it is possible. It is a LOT more common to get a false negaive than a false positive. The best thing for you to do, is to do another pregnancy test. If the test is still positive then you are pregnant and should see your doctor.

Yes. Sometimes it is possible and if it does happen it is most likely hysterical pregnancy. Thats when your body tricks the mind into thinking you are pregnant.
