Is it safe for me to run while pregnant I'm 37 weeks?
It is important that you always check with your doctor first. If you haven't been running throughout your pregnancy you shouldn't start now, however if you have been running all along it should be safe--but check with your doctor first so s/he can make sure your health is ok. If you do run, make sure you stop if you have any pain. A good alternative is swimming, walking or bike riding.

%REPLIES%. Answer . Yes, it is very safe. I vacummed up to the day I went into the hospital wih all 3 of my pregnancys.. Answer . It is safe as long as your doctor hasn't told you not to do it or if it causes pain to you. If it does, then you should talk to your doctor because it shouldn't …be causing pain. It is a very light activity that you should be able to do for all nine months.. Answer . \nMany women clean and vacuum like mad in the last few days before they go into labour. almost as if the body knows it will be too busy for the next few weeks. ( Full Answer )
\n. \n Answer \n. \nNo not usually because of the fumes. If you must try a ventilation mask with a filter and open all the windows and doors. Try to have someone else do it and you leave for the day. You can even discuss with your doctor.\n. \n Answer \n. \nThe myth that painting is u…nsafe actually started years ago when there was still lead in the paint used. However, today they have changed the product, and you should no longer be able to buy paint that contains lead. It is not a problem. The only risk you will find that comes with painting is lightheadedness which can occur from reaching above your head. I helped paint my baby room, and I just made sure it was well ventilated and I sat down and took a break every so often. But don't paint alone!!! If, for some reason, you do get a dizzy spell, you will absolutely want someone near by to make sure you don't fall and hurt yourself.\n. \n Answer \n. \n. \nIt is not only lead based paints that are unsafe. Paints with high VOCs (such as oil-based enamels and epoxy) are not safe for anyone to breathe over an extended period. If you are pregnant and want to do some painting, be sure to ask for a paint with low VOC, or at least be sure to use a water based (latex) paint and have proper ventilation. Even for several days after paint has been applied it can "offgas" fumes into the air. Continue to supply fresh air to an area that is freshly painted for as long as is practical after painting.\n. \n Answer \nWhile solvent-based paints pose more of a threat, water-based paints contain anti-microbials to inhibit microbiological growth while packaged. There are known health effects resulting from occupational exposure to anti-microbials. This would be an extremely low-level exposure, but low-level exposure science is just emerging and much is still unknown. Minimizing exposure to potentially hazardous substances while pregnant (and any other time) is prudent. ( Full Answer )

To a certain point. I don't think that there is any real danger to the fetus from actually being upside down. Once you get into the 2nd and 3rd trimester you will be off center from the extra weight, which could make you fall. Also, as the pregnancy progresses headstands may reduce blood flow to the… baby. I would say it's ok until you start to show, after that I would check with a doctor. ( Full Answer )
Please ask your Doctor/Gyno/Obs, but to answer your question, Whilst pregnant with my son, he was squashing my kidney causing excruciating pain. I was prescribed panadeine forte 30mg x2 as needed. I was 35 weeks pregnant. I took these for 3 days until he moved off my kidney. During the 3rd trimester… of pregnancy your baby is completely formed and 'building the last blocks' ie: lung development before birth. It is not recommended during the first trimester or the last 2 weeks prior to estimated delivery date as premature labour and dilation may be experienced. Depending on the stage of your pregnancy, you should be able to determine from this answer whether you need to take it while pregnant or better still if you could try to only use paracetamol/tylenol. P.S. my son was born on his due date, healty and happy, still is :) ( Full Answer )
Yes, vivid dreaming is a symptom of pregnancy. You can try and program your dreams by thinking of restful scenes like gardens or the ocean before you sleep. Also keeping a journal to write down the things you are worried about may remove them from your brain so your dreams are more peaceful. When ev…er a person is going through a transition, and motherhood is a huge transition, they get their dreaming stirred up. It's normal. Good luck. ( Full Answer )
Yes, however if you are at risk of pre-term labor or miscarriage, the doctor will advise against it.
\nThere is much debate about this topic. Studies show that consuming alcohol while pregnant can lead to birthing complications or fetal complications. Alcohol is a depressant, it can effect hormonal regulation and the developing brain of the fetus, and most often results in premature births. Ther…e are some people who would argue that drinking it in moderation cant do any harm. BUT, there is always a risk. My personal recommendation is to not consume any alcoholic beverage while pregnant as it can cause serious complications later on. ( Full Answer )
Yes, so it's important to use protection such as condoms or the birth control pill.

Absolutely. There are effective and safe treatments, and it would be best for a pregnant woman to get treated before delivery. Please talk with your prenatal health care provider about this matter as soon as possible.
Most always, yes. If you are having a normal, healthy pregnancy, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) says you can fly up to your 36th week. Some airlines will have their own policies about this, so it can't hurt to check with them, but most of the restrictions are when you… are within a month or less of your due date.. Good luck, and congratulations! ( Full Answer )
It depends when the dates from your last period were or when your due date is

No,shaking the fetus can cause the unborn child to have brain damage or cerebal pausey.
Yes and No. It depends on what you'll be doing on your journey and when you'll be doing it. Most doctors obviously don't want you to go rock climbing or anything else obviously too strenous for pregnancy. They also would not want you to travel too far away if you are very close to your due date.
Probably, but talk to a doctor beforehand. Preacher's curls may put unwanted pressure on your abdominal area when you sit in the bench. Talk to your doctor to see what is appropriate.
During this period your uterus is stretched to the max. You can feel your body change to fit the baby. Your placenta is at a mature point during the pregnancy.
The use of benzodiazepines during pregnancy or lactation should be weighed against the potential risks. Alprazolam should not be used during pregnancy and lactation as it is believed to be associated with congenital abnormalities. In general benzodiazepines should not be used during pregnancy.
Nothing says that it is not safe, but it is not recommended. But I don't see what could go wrong with that.
Marijuana is completely safe for a pregnant woman. As i have read there are no non side effects of marijuana. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and been getting bad burning acid pains in neck making me vomit what could be the cause?
It is likely just acid reflux, which is very common during the third trimester. I've had it since week 33, also making me vomit. The baby's taking up alot of space, slowing digestion (hance food sticks around longer), and the hormones relax the valve that narmally keeps food/acid from bubbling back …up. I've found that small meals more often, and milk products help, but it doesn't completely go away. Some docs will let you take over-the-counter meds as well. ( Full Answer )
40 weeks is always only a judgement. Your baby will come when it is ready to. Some people go days/weeks overdue.

A barium enema uses x-ray for diagnosis. No x-ray should be used during pregnancy, unless the life of the mother is in danger and a specific diagnosis is needed, like after a serious injury. A colonoscopy could could probably be done instead of a BE x-ray. Talk to your OB-GYN doctor/provider.
If you are around 8-9 months pregnant, your water may break and you wouldn't realize it, so swimming whilst pregnant isn't the best idea.

A trained person must examine your cervix (at the vault of your vagina) to measure this. Of course, dilation and labor go together in the pregnancy. If you are having cravings for non-edible substances such as clay, paper, metal, or chalk, you may be experiencing the symptoms of a condition called pica. This is not a very common condition during pregnancy, but it is not unheard of. If you are craving chalk, talk to your doctor as soon as poss…ible. In the meantime, do your best to not indulge in your cravings. Eating non-food substances is potentially harmful to both you and your baby. Doing so may interfere with the absorption of healthy food substances and actually cause a deficiency. Pica cravings are also a concern because non-food items may contain toxic or parasitic ingredients. ( Full Answer )
