you can drink your pee no more than twice in one day without large side affects. granted, i probably wouldnt do it unless i was in the middle of a desert dying of thirst, but it wont kill you. the purpose of urine is to rid your body of toxins and nitrogen build up so it isnt necessarily recommended

∙ 14y agoYes. Urine was used as a medical cure centuries ago and some people have managed to stay alive by drinking their own urine in an event like an earthquake.
However, it is also true that drinking pee causes an increase in the uric acid level in the blood, which can cause a painful disease called gout, and which at higher levels is toxic. So, while it is sometimes useful to drink pee if there is nothing else available to drink, I wouldn't make a habit of it.
