I think you'd be better off taking ibuprofen than Tylenol with Demerol, since Demerol is a combined drug that contains acetaminophen already. You should be careful of overdosing, or at the very least call your doctor to find out what a safe dose would be.

Yes, although "safe" is a relative term when talking about both of these medications, as they both have serious potential side effects. As far as drug interactions between the two specifically creating any increased risk when used together, in that regard they are ok if taken together. This should only be done under the supervision of a doctor (for humans) or vet (for animals) which I would assume there is access to, beings that these medications are usually given by prescription.

I am taking prednisone and my dentist gave me demerol....so i guess it's ok since those years in medical school are supposed to teach them about that stuff.
