It depends on the denomination of Christianity doing the interpretation of the scriptures. Furthermore, Jewish people do not believe in Hell, so the Jewish answer is no.
Different interpretations of The Bible exist on this topic. While some believe that being gay is a sin, others interpret the Bible's teachings on homosexuality differently. It's important to consider varying perspectives and engage in respectful discourse on this complex and sensitive issue.
The hatred starts with the bible and the bible says you cant be gay, Im sitting here looking at my carpet and it says ok to be gay you dont burn. the bible is believed with no origin, Id rather believe my carpet then the bible saying god is torturing his creation in hell forever for being gay and there is no hell look at the trees grass clouds etc...
No. People say that.
There is no mention of any gay people in the Bible. Sexual orientation was completely unknown in ancient times.
No. There are no stories of gay couples in the Bible, though there are people who have interpreted some Biblical relationships as gay, such as the relationship between David and Jonathan.
No. If that were true, it would be called the gay gay alliance.
i think that gay people go to hell because there doing something not right in there life but i don't necessary think they will go to hell but i think that they will be given a new chance in life.
No. It says homosexuality is a sin. If you engage in those activities, according to God's word, you will go to hell.
No, it is not true.
Should anyone burn in hell? Of course not, God created every single human being on this earth out of love, and wishes them to be in heaven for eternity with Him. Nobody should be in hell. That being said, many people end up in hell, probably, from what the Bible says, the majority of them, and we should pray for them, and help them all we can, but it is never our job to condemn anyone to hell, as that kind of judging will put us in hell!
ok the bible is hard to live by if you gay or lesbian or even bisexual. i think of the bible as just a guideline. i don't follow all of its practices but i follow it. i personally say that's up for you to decide. if you want to be gay lesbian or bisexual by all means go ahead but if you want to deny your body what it wants by following the bible then by all means go ahead. i personally think that the reason the bible doesnt support homosexuality is because heterosexual people made it and were disgusted by the idea of homosexuality so they made a book that condemened all homosexuals to hell to hell and blamed their weak wills on devil.
It's likely you're thinking of Sodom and Gomorrah, but these were never described in the Bible as cities for gay people.
Gays are not against the Bible. When the Bible is used against people in the ways that are hurtful and discriminate they would disagree with someone doing that ( the bible was used as a reason for slavery), but there are many members of the clergy who are gay and who head churches.
