It helps a little for me although it is not instant it takes a few minutes. I leave the tape on for about an hour. It starts itching again in a couple hours though.
No, it is not true.
It wont stop the itching. The itching is caused by the saliva of the mosquito as it inserts its proboscis into your flesh to draw blood from you. Its only the females that bite. If you cut open the bits you will just have a bite and a cut. Bicarbonate of soda mixed with water will help stop the itching. visit www.insectsaway.com for more advice. Its free
Mosquitoes are the insect who suck blood and spread diseases
I heard on a nature TV program that the mosquito's salive is what causes the itching.
Well normally I just wait for the mosquito bite to go away, and just try to avoid scratching it. But if that doesn't work you can get a cotton ball and put some alcohol on it and just rub it on the mosquito bite, that sometimes helps. Or you can go to a pharmacy (Rite Aid, Walgreen's, etc. ) and ask if they have any anti-itch creams, most likely they will so you can just put that on the mosquito bite. And it will stop the itching so that the mosquito bite will go away faster.
no
== == yes but you only put it on the bite and put something like tape immediately over it. for other ways to stop it go to http://tipnut.com/over-40-mosquito-bite-itch-relief-tips/

The scratching itself contributes to a slower healing process because you are continually removing the scab over the top of the mosquito bite that is helping the area heal. Scratching can also promote a small infection at the site and is not recommended. Applying some sort of anti-itch cream - benadryl, lanacaine will stop the itching and allow the area to heal.
Yes it can. Your body can sometimes mistake the protein in bananas to certain kinds of pollen. It is a pretty common reaction, actually.
