No. Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3:3: "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." He also told His disciples in Matthew 28:19: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,". You will not spend eternity with Him or the Father in Heaven unless you are baptized into Christ, which is being born again. You do not have to be water baptized or experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit to spend eternity with the Godhead. The thief on the cross (Luke 23:32-43) is an example of one who acknowledged Jesus as Lord, but did not have the opportunity to be water or spirit baptized, yet Jesus told him, "today you will be with Me in Paradise." Water baptism is an ordinance of the Church, which when embraced imparts a grace that enables the believer to live the resurrected life. See Galatians 2:20 and Romans 6. Answer 2 John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Here Jesus says one must be "born of water." This does not refer to baptism, but to physical birth. Being born of the spirit is the same as being born-again; when we are born-again we are "baptized," that is "immersed," in the Holy Spirit. This is what is required to see the Kingdom of God. Water baptism is commanded by Christ: Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: It is an act of obedience to be baptized (immersed in water ceremonially), not a requirement for salvation. It symbolizes our death to sin and rising again, with righteousness imparted to us by Christ. It is also a proclamation to the world that we believe in Christ alone as the way to salvation.
