It would be helpful to know which model but the offhanded answer is ....maybe. Checking the Kelly Bluebook website for a Solara SLE Coupe with that mileage it appears the trade in value is somewhere between eight-thousand and ten-thousand dollars depending on whether the condition is good or excellent (rare). The absolute top price (retail sale from dealer) for a Solara Coupe with that mileage in excellent condition is about 14-thousand dollars. The value would be less if the vehicle you're looking at is an SE but (arguably) more if it's an SLE convertible. Convertible values vary quite a bit depending where you live. Suggestion. Visit the Kelly Bluebook website ( www.kbb.com ) and check your local Auto Trader listings to zero in on local values. Cheers

3000 miles is safest
Toyota recommends replacing the belt every 90,000 miles.
What would be the recommended miles to change out the timing belt on my 2001 Solara 4cyl. with 77,000 miles on it. Would 90K be a number close to factory recommendations?
116,000 square miles is 300,438.62 square kilometers.
According to the Gates website : The 2001 Toyota Solara 2.2 liter 4 cylinder : Has a timing BELT, it is NOT an interference engine , change the belt at 90,000 miles
The V6 has a cam timing belt. Check the maintenance schedule for the car and you'll find the belt is scheduled for replacement at 90,000 miles. BTW the 4-cylinder Solara has a timing chain, no maintenance needed.
This is a result of poor tire tread. It happened to me after 30,000 miles. The tire tread looked good but was actually quite worn. After I changed the tires the hydroplaning was gone.
I am not an expert in auto mechanics, etc., just a consumer, but I recently bought a 2002 Solara and I have been tracking the mileage, and so far I get about 22-23 miles per gallon. I had some highway traveling in this estimate, but mostly just local traveling.
Yes. The six-cylinder engine uses a belt to run the camshafts. Replacement is recommended at 90,000 miles or ten years whichever comes first.
