I don't think so. nowadays television are very affordable and comes with a lot of perks. Most of the TV now have the new features that the older ones doesn't have. Toshiba is a good brand but you will always have the worry after having it fixed, that it will be broken for a few months, and without the warranty
It all depends on you. Do you think its right? I may add it is kind of cool to have it because the quality is better.

For scales it is easest to replace the screen.
If the black marks are dead pixels then you have to replace the screen you cant fix it.
A good computer shop should be able to replace broken parts to fix this.

You cannot fix a physically broken screen via the graphics card. Take the computer to a repair shop and pay for a new screen to be installed.
No unless u fix it it's useable put it's being repaired on monday i was just wondering should i continue to use it till then since not all the screen is dead or will using it cause more damage
You can't fix with your own tools. You should bring to a local video game to exchange with your warranty. If you don't have a warranty certify DS with Nintendo to get a free 30-day warranty.
