No, it is not wrong.
However, while it is entirely up to you to do what you want with your life, you possibly need / should have more in your life than babysitting.
You have already brought up your family (son) and while, as a grandparent, it is enjoyable to see your grandchildren and help out your family, your life is passing by and there may be other things you should be doing with it in your retirement - (while you have the health/can).
In some respects therefore you are allowing your son to use you and this is not altogether healthy for you (or him).
In monetary terms how much would it cost him to purchase 50 hours child care a week (alot more than $65 - perhaps $650-$1000) and in this respect what you are charging is not enough!
I am not suggesting that you stop babysitting if that is what you actually WANT to do but I suspect from your question 2 things:-
1) that ,as you want some payment, you are not actually happy about what is being asked of you and would like some 'me time'.
2) that your son is moaning about you wanting to be paid - in which case you are being "used".
If this is the case I suggest you ask your son to make other arrangements but make it clear that you are there to help (for free) if there are any emergencies that may need babysitting cover.
what's the amount should charge for babysitting, how many hours should keep the children a day, and how many children you can babysit at a time?
it depense on how long it is for if its for say 4 hours you should get at least 17 dollars just times the time with the age and add a dollar per kid.
You should charge 8 dollars an hour or if you are more of a pricey person then 20 dollars every two hours
The duration of Adventures in Babysitting is 1.7 hours.
About $25 dollars, give or take a few dollars, you should be getting about $5 an hour. At the lowest, maybe $3?
Multiply 12.45 by an hourly rate. At 10 dollars an hour, that's $124.50
Depending on where you live, the usual rate is 5 dollars per child per hour. In your case you would actually be asking for 80 dollars. If the babysitting is happening during the day you may knock a little bit off the price, but it goes into the evening and the time goes past 10pm the hours after 10pm cost more because it's late.
there is no law limiting the hours of babysitting
I get $6 an hour from a single mom and $15 an hour from big family.Well, first of all it depends how many kids. Here is what people usually pay me.1 kid= 5$ an hour2 kids= 8$ an hour3 kids= 12$ an hourI have never had to watch 4 kids. But i hope this helps you! Have fun babysitting!between 20-40 a night it depends how much you do if you clean how many children how long your there that kind of stuff.maybe 6 an hourif u are babysitting a small toddler or infant about 10 dollars an hourand if you are babysitting a kindergartner about 4 dollars an hour
Babysitting could be a couple of hours a week for when the parents are on date nights, meetings and so on. A part time job would involve usually around thirty hours a week.
Depends on the charging current. A general guideline is that you overshoot with around 1.4 times the capacity when you charge, so if your charge current is 1 amp, you need to charge for a little more than 4 hours for a full charge. If charge current is 0.5 amps you need about eight and a half hours for a full charge.
This is a very detailed question, which makes it easier to answer, thank you. You should cahrge around $8/hr. Plus $5 for gas. Y = mx +b Your Salery = 8x + 5 x = number of hours worked.
