Keep in mind as teens most of us date just for the sake of not being alone or having fun. Jade is co-dependant on Beck, he is her therapist person, who is calm and understanding and warm. He is her safe person. Her family as we know is conservative judgemental and xold as stated in the ep when whe have seen her father. Beck is probably the first person who reached out to her and she sticked to him like a lil child, reason why she is possessive of him is fear of being left alone in the cold. Even in first ep she does it to show it of to Tori that he is her possession. Also its like Tori awakens or triggeres something in Jade which makes Jade become more aggressive than ever. Even after that kiss, she doesn't really hate her for that, it was something about Tori that caught her off guard. Maybe because Toei is her opposite and she also felt pulled to her. Later she let's Tori touch her more than anyone else but Beck. She let's her touch her hug her she even teases her in a flirty way also comes to her to cry to(also jade's aesthetic is very bi if you know you know it was done on purpose also Tori has in her locker for the whole show "I kissed a girl" sticker). Keep in mind these teens are 15-18 they don't know themselves well enough yet yet they are still young enough for their feelings to be clear as they based on behaviour. I think if the show was for mature audience I would't be surprised if she came out as either lesbian or bi. Also Jade is very much focused on Tori's behaviour imitates her, there were 2 guys that have approached Tori Jade asked "why are you talking to Tori" also Tori liked this one guy Jade instantly says "I don't trust him" keep in mind Jade constantly says that they are not friends so who is she to ask or care. Also the show clearly did the lesbian subtext, there 2 have been the only characters to be set on a date and 2 marriage plays also were supposed to have 2 kiss scenes but omg it was not allowed because two girls kissing is inappropriate for kids but boy a'd a girl kissing and making our is not. Tori was touching Jade in one ep and Jade says

"having fun there" doesn't tell her usual"don't touch me"when tori searches jade's body checking for scissors since Jade is opsessed with scissors and the movie called "the Scissoring" Jade says"dont be shy"

Also them holding hands yet they are not friends could be that one of them if not both have a subconscious crush on the other. If this wasn't a sitcom for lil kids. These two would end up together even on Nick they almost shared a kiss.I could imagine them having a healthy relationship they are a good match. Beck and Jade relationship is unhealthy its like jade is a child and Beck and adult. Meanwhile Jade and Tori are both on the same level, they would be opossites but equals
