No, both man & woman's status is same in Islam. Womans have all the rights that a man has. except of some parts in which man's status is higher than woman & in some parts woman's status is higher than a man. It is what because man and woman are not physically and biologically same. So we can say man and woman are same in Islam.
I would like to say in ISLAM even women also has got rights, but some limits are imposed to her.
