Many scientists believe that humans are part of the cause. Some have said its mostly caused by natural events (including the sun).

A recent poll among 3,146 earth scientists (climatologists) found that 90 percent believe global warming is real, while 82 percent agree that human activity been a significant factor in changing mean global temperatures.

People are causing global warming because of there presence on Earth..They are contributing to the carbon Dioxide, Because they are breathing out Carbon dioxide into the atmosphere 24/7.

While the average car drives at an average of two hours a day..And also let as put into the equation the heat of a human body that goes into the Atmosphere, And at more or less 7 Billion people on the planet,I think it also contributes to the warming..This cannot be a yes/no question because planets have gone through warming stages when people were not present. Venus is an extreme example of global warming due to the greenhouse effect, and some scientists believe that at one time it may have had a climate similar to ours. Mainstream science has attributed our current warming trend to human activity, namely our constantly increasing carbon dioxide emissions ever since the beginning of the industrial revolution over a hundred years ago; However, there are some scientists who feel that this is a natural trend and the planet would be warming regardless of human activity. Some people debate that the planet is even warming at all. They feel that it's quite possibly a lie from our government, all for the purpose of enforcing new taxes on carbon emissions. The fact is that our climate can be altered by many different factors. The suns temperature does fluctuate mildly, which would have an effect on Earths temperature, but I don't believe our current situation to be this case. Whether or not it is human activity that is warming the planet, I think it would be wise at this stage to adopt our energy production to green technologies. I feel that I can handle the inconveniences of limiting my carbon footprint even if humans are not causing the climate change on Earth. I wouldn't be able to handle the fact that my inaction to change has contributed to global warming.

Perhaps notIf global warming is anthropogenic or anthropomorphic (caused by humans), we're not doing a very good job of warming the Earth, inasmuch as the planet hasn't warmed in the last decade or so. More likely, warming and cooling occur in natural cycles that man has little control over. Don't forget that in the 1970s scientists were warning us of the impending ice age.

That's because the skies have been covered with a sort of chemically made cloud that spreads out and blocks the sun. They are spead by jets and have been actively seen openly and noticibly since 1996 but when viewing movies made in the 80's you can see chemtrails in the skies in the backgrounds on some movies. So it's not known exactly when the skies began to be covered in this way. Look up chem trails and you'll find out more information on what they are and what they do. They are meant to slow global warming by blocking some of the suns rays. Though some of the chemicals make some people ill, if it weren't for the chemtrails up there global warming would be much, much worse. Once you know how to spot a plane when its spreading chemtrails and how to spot the difference between a naturally occurring cloud and one made by chemtrails you'll wonder how you never noticed it before. Normal jet fumes by law are supposed to burn clean - meaning you're not supposed to be able to see very much of them and what you do see is supposed to disappear very quickly. When a plane is speading chemtrails the "smoke" or "fumes" coming out of its tailpipes will expand instead of disappear and will stay in the sky. A plane will pass again and again over an area of cloudless sky in order to fill it. This is also why we very rarely see a clear blue cloudless sky anymore. A cloudy sky due to chemtrails or aided by chemtrails will appear streaky or the clouds will have unnatural straight lines in them that no natural occurring cloud will ever have.

Yes, the majority of climate scientists agree that the two main causes of global warming are deforestation and the combustion of fossil fuels. Human beings have been cutting down forests for centuries, and are still doing so. Human beings discovered coal and oil, and found that they released energy when burned. There is no other serious cause of global warming.

No, climatologists estimate humans are responsible for only 96% to 99% of current measured global warming. The other 1% to 4% is due to other natural causes.

What do glaciers and global warming have in common?

Global warming is causing the glaciers to disappear. This is how they are connected.

What do people believe about climate changes and global warming?

People believe that man is causing global warming and climate change by burning fossil fuels and cutting down the forests of the world.Other people believe that global warming is a natural event and man is not causing it.Most believe that it is partially a natural issue that man is having some unknown affect on as well. This is where most scientists fall.Other people believe that global warming is not happening at all.

Does the sun prevent global warming?

No, the sun does not prevent global warming. It provides the heat originally, and we add the extra greenhouse gases to capture more of it, causing global warming.

How does ocean pollution affect global warming?

Global warming does not really affect ocean pollution. However, ocean pollution is something that is effecting global warming. This is because the pollutants are what is causing the warming trend.
