∙ 11y agoWell, it provides knowledge of mining. For example, if you dig straight down you will reach the mantle. It also shows that our Earth's resources are not unlimited. There are many other good reasons, too. I personally think that minecraft is a great game for kids! If you are planning to buy it for your child, I suggest only giving him 45-75(or 75 minutes is 1 hour 15 minutes) minutes.

∙ 7y agoYes, you should. There is no blood or gore, no swearing, no suggestive themes and no drugs, smoking or alcohol. It is really an amazing game where you can do whatever you want. The only problem is the multiplayer servers, as people can say and do what they want on there but there are plenty of family friendly servers which not only disallow swearing but also have rollback plugins if someone griefs your house.
