probably yes, if you tow have been through enough to be best friends, you probably are. sure i guess but keep personal secrets to yourself. If they offend you dont make a big deal out of it. Other han that sure they are your best friends.

not necessarily, it all depends on how well you know each other, the amount of trust that is emitted by both parties, the level of respect shown to each other and the strehgth of your relationship. not all friends are your best friends and its okay for it to be this way. a word from the experienced, sometimes its safer this way-meaning less conflicts between friends with each other and their freindships with you. but you can have more than one best friend and if you do its great!

It's likely that you both met each other on false pretences as people do, coming across as you want to be seen and not necessarily how you really are at your most private or most relaxed, but as your friendship grew you found out that actually you do really like the more realistic portrayal of each other.

You know how your best friend wants to be seen and how they really are, you might even know them better than they know themselves depending on how close you are of course.

how close you are is more important than learning their life story.
