dogs, like humans, are omnivors. They can eat a veriety of foods. Some does, like people, can over eat easily and you have to be careful about portion control or they can become fat.

Pork is OK for dogs, in moderation.

Generally Pork is safe for dogs to eat.

Beef and lamb is better for your dog however, Pork should be given as mainly a treat.

Beware of PORK BONES! They are not ideal to give to dogs as they can splinter when chewed.

Lamb bones and beef bones are best.

FULLY cooked pork is okay, but NEVER give them the bones. Pork chops and either pork or beef ribs are brittle and can splinter and require emergency intervention from your Vet (so do chicken bones but for a different reason).

If these are given routinely as "treats", sooner or later, you're going to have a critical incident. It has to be managed immediately, meaning you should educate yourself on how it's done, or you can easily loose your best friend. We've a senior trainer missing a finger from the extraction process (but he saved the dog). Just don't do it.

Well dogs are like us humans. They have the carnivore category. So dogs can eat it. Is it healthy for us? Find out that question and...BAM! you will know if it is good or bad
