"Pre-ejaculatory fluid" serves several purposes. It is a lubricant as well as a neutralizing fluid intended to cleans the urethra and allow the seminal fluid and sperm to pass thru the urethra without being damaged by any urine or uric acid left behind after the last urination before ejaculation.
