Is playing with yourself a sin?

The act of masturbation itself is not a sin, however The Bible says somewhere to cleanse yourself with water afterwards. The things often thought about during masturbation are sins, though, such as adultery, lust, etc. So if one masturbates to fulfill the need for it without any dirty thoughts, it is not a sin... But they will still need a shower.

ya it is a sin. it is written on the Qur'an o sura bakara that don't do anything which is harm you. and if you think that you have done something bad the repent and seek forgiveness from Allah rather then try punishing yourself, Allah is the most merciful he can forgive even the biggest seen.

Yes, a mortal sin. Anal masturbation is pure egoism and kills love in you and destroys your relationship with Christ.
