∙ 11y agoI think because it metabolizes into meprobamate sometimes which is a benzo... they usually dont show up because ive taken ua's and they never showed up and one time it showed up as a bzo and its not a bzo its a carbamate that effects the GABAA receptors like benzos do and i think that is why it sometimes gets mistaken for as a benzo

I don't think soma shows up in a drug because I have taken it before and it has never shown up

∙ 14y agoAlthough Soma is not a technically benzodiazepine, it is metabolized by the liver into the benzodiazepine, meprobamate. This is why it recently gained Schedule IV Controlled Substance status.
