Glass is just a word to describe any hard, brittle, and transparent material. There are many kinds of glass, and they can be either homogeneous or heterogeneous. Ordinary window glass is homogeneous. A glass marble with swirls of color in it is heterogeneous.

ANSWER = Homogeneous.

Homogeneous mixture is uniform in properties throughout the sample.

If the glass had chunks of rubies in it; it would be heterogeneous, or,

if salt in the water hasn't dissolved yet, it would be heterogeneous. (If it's dissolved it would be homogeneous because the salt and water property all look the same at that point.)

Ordinary window- and laboratoy- and bottle- and drinking-glass is homogeneous.

A lot of artesian, design and special art-formed glass peaces are heterogenous: colours, bubles, pickles etc.
