Although Sufuric Acid can be extremely harmful in strong concentrations, it is a naturally occurring compound. The release of sulfur into the bioshpere is not solely the fault of anthropogenic sources (product of combustion of coal) it is also a major compound that is released in Volcanic eruptions. Sulfuric acid forms when the sulfur is released in a gasious form and mixes with water molecules in the atmosphere.
