Chewing sugar-free Chewing Gum or gum with xylitol, is good for you. Chewing gum helps increase saliva. Saliva neutralizes acid, thus helping protect your teeth from damage.
However, eating or chewing anything that contains sugar increases the acid in your mouth. Chewing gum containing sugar actually adds more acid to your mouth, making it difficult for the saliva to neutralize the acid.
Researchers have found that chewing gum that contains breath freshening oils can help with bad breath. Several plant essential oils, such as cinnamon oil, kill the germs that cause cavities and bad breath.
Research generally shows that chewing gum helps with concentration and increases the heart rate. Chewing gum can also help relieve muscular tension and help people stay alert.
Chewing gum has also been known to help people stop smoking.
Remember two things.
1.Chewing gum is good for your teeth because it cleans your teeth takes acid away from your teeth...it is a good buffer...it produces salivary enzymes in your mouth which is good to prevent teeth decay and bad breath......But if it's sugar free.(it is bad)..because when there is no sugar there is sweeter(chemical or artificial sugar) we dont have enzyme to break down sweeter unreal sugar or unnatural sugar....so it puts tooooo much pressure on our poor Liver and Pancreas.
2.By chewing gum you are telling your stomach that food is coming get ready...so your stomach produces HCl hydrochloric acid to digest food...but you are cheating your stomach...it is not food it is only a GUM?! So that excessive amount of HCl is dangerous for your stomach...it can cause stomach alcer..stomach cancer...and...burning like pain in stomach....then you end up taking antiacid to reduce stomach acid...!
So?So what? so dont chew Gum before food chew gum after food...to quickly digest food and get hungry and eat more and get fat?oops!
So you decide it is your life.thanks for attention

CHEWING THE BUBBLE GUM IN MOST LOLLIPOPS OR MOST GIFT BAGS ARE GOOD FOR YOU BECAUSE It ONLY HAS. NOT EVEN 1 GALLON OF SUGAR EVEN IF IT SAYS DIFFERENT I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I WORK FOR BOTH COMPANIES.

Chewing too much gum can cause jaw strain, and of course the constant exposure to the sugars can encourage cavity growth, but chewing gum wont really hurt you directly.
