I think it depends where you are. But, keep in mind if you want to take an egg, the mom recognizes the egg by it's scent, and touching it yourself covers the scent. I would recommend not taking it if you aren't sure about whether it's illegal or not.
It's not illegal but most official governing bodies will discourage it. If the noise from the gulls is so prevalent that it affects neighbours lives then it could be considered as breaking the law.
It is not illegal to feed seagulls. However, one might argue, if vast flocks of seagulls are being attracted to your lawn because you neighbor is feeding them, that your neighbor is causing a nuisance. I think the first thing to try is to ask your neighbor to go down to the beach and feed the seagulls there, where it will not be a nuisance. Other than that, see if there is anything applicable in your municipal by-laws.
a neighbor at 1918 Bernice Ave., San Jose,95124 feeds the sea gulls every morning and they come in groves. Is it illegal?
Yes, they are endangered species
Yes
No. Seagulls should not be fed. They need to be eating their own food from the wild. Thanks for thinking of them!
Yes, they are not very intelligent but they do remember where they have gotten food if you feed them several times in a row.
Seagulls are not herbivores. They primarily feed on fish, although they are also known to be opportunistic scavengers. In their natural state, they are carnivores, but their adaptation to man's presence has made them omnivores.
Seagulls will eat practically anything from fish, to chips, to clams, to bread.
The most common reason for a lack of seagulls in an area is that there is no food source for them. Seagulls are scavengers and cannot feed on open water like other birds.
Everywhere is so clean, there are no scraps to feed off, but there are none on Pangkor island,Malaysia, Why ?
No, Seagulls are white.
