∙ 13y agoThe Texas Mexican war is also called the Texan Revolution of the War for Texan Independence and was fought in 1835 and 1836. It is not to be confused with the Mexican-American war of 1846 till 1848 which was betwen Mexico and the US in part because Texas had been Annexed by the United States. There was no Texas American war or battle until the US Civil War.
