Only if they use genuine Honda Transmission Fluid. Most of the time they don't. They use generic Dexron fluid because it's cheap. Then they add a bottle of friction modifier to match the friction characteristics of Honda. Honda has a special transmission fluid and if you don't use it, you can void your warranty. So you can have Jiffy do it if you want to buy your own fluid.

This isn't any harder than changing the engine oil, so if you can do that, you should be able to handle it.
