The Ministry of Magic is generally well-intentioned. However, both the Ministers we've seen in the series, Cornelius Fudge and Rufus Scrimgeour, have a tendency to make decisions which look good politically, but are not for the best.
The Ministry is against Harry for most of the fifth book/movie, but realizes that he was right at the end. In the seventh book/movie, Voldemort stages a coup and takes over the Ministry, but thing are returned to normal after Voldemort is defeated.
magic
it is about howarts becoming ruled by the ministry of magic. that is when things start to turn upside down. it is a really good book and movie.
Harry had many friends in the fifth book most of them were on the Quidditch Team or in Dumbolbre's Army, but his closest friends would be the people who went to the Ministry of Magic with him, as they risked there lives. These people were:Ron WeasleyHermione GrangerGinny WeasleyNeville LongbottomLuna Lovegood
In a way, yes. Demarketing, as I understand it, is the attempt to discourage demand for a product or service. In the 5th book, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Professor Umbridge discourages the use of wands and magic in order to protect the Ministry from a potential uprising. The world of good also discourages the service of the Ministry in the later books, since the Ministry has become extremely corrupt. It's far-fetched, but it might work.
Magic's In The Air.
Sirius ends up a good guy, but is still wanted by the Ministry of Magic. He and Peter Pettigrew both escape. Sirius is forced into hiding and Peter goes back to Voldermort.
As far as I know, no such sports were ever mentioned.
There is nobody with that name in Harry Potter.
You grossly exaggerate the significance of a movie. Even if Harry had "worship Satan" tattooed on his forehead it's not "evil". No movie is that important regardless of what is portrayed - the power isn't there.
Answers.com has summaries of the Harry Potter books. Other good websites are MuggleNet and the Harry Potter Wikia.
They do not mix because: 1.) Harry Potter deals with magic. Pokemon deals with stupid little animals come out of red and silver spheres. 2.) Well, there is no other reason. Good day. (:
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was FANTASTIC!
