The movie is about "90%" accurate. I am trying to find out the exact artisic license that was used. I am aware that the fight never happened (where "Zach's brother" goes all Jackie Chan) and I know that Hollywood never called Ben Markowitz after he kidnapped Nick as was portayed in the movie.
I have never read anything about Nick having said anything at Lizards Mouth the night he was murdered and Pressley testified that as Rugge and Hoyt led Nick up the path to his death that all three walked in silence. I am trying to find out whether Nick did actually plead with Rugge or whether, as testimony seems to state, he was too intoxicated to know wxactly what was about to happen.
