+P ammo is rated for the .45 Springfield XD, although I am seeing that it may not cycle correctly. May want to check with Springfield.
Yes ,the Springfield XD 45 is rated for +P ammo. I carry CorbOn 200gr +P 's in mine. G
The Springfield Armory 1911A1 manual states that +P ammunition should only be used in firearms with barrels of at least 5".

There is no difference. A 30-06 Springfield is the only ammo under that designation. Now different companies sell the 30-06 cartridge, but it is all 30-06 Springfield ammo.

I think if you are worried about a fine for a LOADED GUN, don't have a loaded gun in your car. Keep the ammo seprate from it, and if needed, you can reload it.
