Can the Nintendo DSi connect to the internet?

it can have internet but you have to buy the Nintendo DS or DS lite internet browser for it which is expensive (i have one, though :P)

you could get it from amazon or eBay, probably. GameStop might even have one (i doubt it, though) your best bet is to get it of of amazon (where I got mine)

I am happy to tell you that in fact there is an emulator with wi-fi support. Obviously you will need an internet connection that can go more than 128 kilobytes upstream. With that out of the way you will need to go to this site and get the emulator and the wifi plugin and any other plugin desired. It runs with optimal speed on a 3ghz CPU but can be played on any CPU.

As of 2014, all online functions for DS games have been terminated. It is no longer possible to go online with a Nintendo DS game, even if played in a 3DS, as Nintendo WFC which they connected to, has been taken down.

Yes there is. An emulator by the name of Drastic. And one of the best ones out there with great performances. It will cost you about 3-4 dollars. But I would say it is rather worth it. You can find it in the play store.
