I am happy to tell you that in fact there is an emulator with wi-fi support. Obviously you will need an internet connection that can go more than 128 kilobytes upstream. With that out of the way you will need to go to this site and get the emulator and the wifi plugin and any other plugin desired. It runs with optimal speed on a 3ghz CPU but can be played on any CPU.
Before 2014, the Nintendo DS could connect to the internet over unsecured or WEP connections only.
As of 2014, all online functions for DS games have been terminated. It is no longer possible to go online with a Nintendo DS game, even if played in a 3DS, as Nintendo WFC which they connected to, has been taken down.
Yes there is. An emulator by the name of Drastic. And one of the best ones out there with great performances. It will cost you about 3-4 dollars. But I would say it is rather worth it. You can find it in the play store.
Yes, but only if you have a wireless router at home.
Yes, the Nintendo DSi can connect to any Wi-Fi access point or wireless router (though a password may be needed).

No it doesnt , If you have WIFI it is free but if you have a dongle USB you cannot connect at all.
You do not have to pay any money, above and beyond whatever you pay for your wireless internet connection, or any DSi points for use in the DSi store.
In order to connect the Nintendo dsi shop you'll need a compaible wireless access to a broadband internet connection.
there is no netflix app for ds or dsi, only nintendo 3ds
