My 2000 Ford Focus owner's manual lists 5w-30 as the correct weight motor oil. Any modern brand of motor oil should be fine. 5w30 oil for ZETEC engines
Brand is purely a matter of opinion and everyone can tell you why they like one oil over another. The Ford brand of oil is Motorcraft. Use any name brand oil.....just stay with the recommended weight rating for your engine. It's probably 5w-20.
10w30. The brand is a personnal choice. I use Pennzoil.
I prefer Roush HIGH ZINC PERFORMANCE MOTOR OIL.
They sell a crappy brand called - "certified motor oil".
The Mercury brand was phased out in 2011
The motor oil drain plug is located on the motor oil pan.
The Ford motor company recommends you use 10W-30 weight motor oil in the 1998 Ford F1 50 truck. A heavier weight motor oil can be used in extreme climates.
The motor oil that is recommended for a 2000 Ford Taurus is 5W 20. This oil can be purchased at any retail or auto parts store.
Both. The Ford Motor Corporation is a company; among its brands are Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln.
Any major brand synthetic oil.
