Yes. A bass strap is thicker so that it can support the weight of the bass, while the guitar strap is thinner because guitars are lighter than bass-guitars.

Hope this helped :-)

First of all, a "bass-guitar" is not a "bass-guitar" it's a electric bass. To tell the difference between a electric bass and a guitar is the electric bass has a lower sound to fit into the beat and the guitar has a higher pitch sound, even a acoustic guitar.

There are several differences between electric bass and an acoustic guitar. A bass guitar has only four strings, which are thicker, while an acoustic guitar has thinner strings and has six of them.

on a five string bass guitar there are five strings, and on a six string bass guitar there are six strings

the difference between bass and guitar is a bass normally has 4 or 5 strings but guitars have 6 strings. bass guitars are used for rhythm most of the time but guitars are usually used for melody. bass guitars are 1 octave below guitars.

When you play the bass guitar chord it is longer than the acoustic guitar chord and the acoustic is for country or rock songs

A bass clef is used when playing bass guitar because you are plaing bass notes. Because you are using your left hand and not your ritght(treble clef).

A Bassist plays the Bass guitar. A Guitarist plays the "non-bass" guitar. Both are technically guitarists - The bass player provides the bottom of the sound.

A bass looks like a massive violin or cello. It stands to about mid-chest level. A double bass is much larger and stands usually to about your head. A bass guitar is more like an electric guitar in size.

The guitarron is the bass guitar commonly used by mariachis. It is about the size of a bass fiddle and hangs from the player's neck by a strap.

An electric base guitar is usually tuned an octave lower than an electric lead guitar.

In a sense, both are electric. A typical 'Electric Guitar' is for notes in the treble clef, and is generally capable of playing any melody. A Bass guitar is for notes in the bass clef, as the name suggests. It generally plays the lower parts underneath the melody.

The bass amps are built for low frequencies, guitar amps are meant for higher frequencies. This is apparent in the type of speaker used as well as the equalization section.

bass guitar can play much lower notes and is used for backing up the other melodic instruments and electric guitar is more for the leading parts of the song and it can have a wide variety of pedals (different sounds) added to it.

base guitar= does not exist. bass guitar= a form of the stand up bass made to get a different sound and easier for transportation. Folk guitar= usually an acoustic guitar. not a specific brand or type. but an acoustic guitar. Folk guitar is a style like rock guitar, jazz guitar, metal guitar there are not different guitars, and style can be played on any guitar (obviously some are easier on certain types of guitars)

Basseffect pedals usually have a B in the little code for the pedal...for example an ordinary guitar pedal is the boss ME - 50,the bass version is the boss ME - 50B....also bassseffect pedals are designed for the tomal range of a bass and not a guitar, but you can still use guitar pedals for effects with your bass rig,eg in the somg the ace of spades lemmy uses a guitar distortion for his bass

A rythym guitar is an electric or accoustic guitar playing chords to keep rythym and the bass guitar is used to anchor down the harmonics and lay down the beat, basically smooth things out and either playing basic rythyms or beautiful harmonics.

When people hear the word blues guitar they typically think of the four stringed guitar called a bass. This is a type of guitar but not technically a guitar because a guitar by definition is a 6-stringed instrument. Blues riffs can be played on any instrument. Guitar, bass, piano, saxophone, etc... So there is no specific instrument or in your case guitar that is for blues. The difference between a guitar and a bass? A double bass looks like a large cello or violin.A bass looks like a guitar with four, five, or six strings, and it has a lower sound than a guitar.A double bass would be found in a orchestra or a jazz band.A bass would be found in a rock or pop band.Hope this helps!

Because of music theory. The bass guitar is played in the bass clef.

You mean could they tell if someone was playing bass or violin? Yes.

A proper fender bass guitar will cost you between £300 and £600 (about $400 to $800).

I'd get a front mounted bicycle basked to put the book bag in, then I'd get a guitar case with a shoulder strap and carry the guitar on the back while riding.
