Is there a law forgiving debt of veterans on pension and disable persons?

No. The exception is in individual cases student loans can be forgiven if the debtor qualifies under a hardship release. All Social Security, RRB, miltary and government pensions (including disability) and most private pensions are exempt from creditor garnishment. The exemption does not apply to federal or state tax arrearages, child support and in some instances spousal maintenance (alimony).
