∙ 15y agoHi, I'm not sure which country you're from, but I'm guessing the US? Well here in Australia we have two options available. The first is a white rubber hose about 3 ft. long. It slides over the tap (faucet) head, and has a shower head on the other end. This won't work if your tap (faucet) head is threaded to take an aerator. In Australia, they cost about A$14. The other actually replaces your faucet, and screws onto the water pipe connection. This then gives you the choice of either filling your tub or bath, or by pulling a switch, diverting water to the shower, which is attached to a 6 ft. long chrome flexible hose. The faucet connection is also chrome. This comes with a shower rose holder which can be attached to the wall to make the shower a 'hands free" The only thing I wouldn't be sure about is whether this would suit your Plumbing specifications. This unit is designed to be installed to 1/2 inch BSP (British Standard Pipe) thread. These units cost around A$90. Hope this helps.
